Wireless High Speed Internet--Angel Valley Farm has implemented "WiMax" wireless Internet technology, and it's fast! Free wireless Internet is available anytime for guests who bring their own laptop computers (there is not an in-house computer for guest use--please be advised). Bring your laptop and surf the Internet in style!

Near the B&B….
There is much to do within a few minutes of the B&B. It is a beautiful area without the hassles of San Jose, but big enough to keep you busy day and night.

Los Angeles Cloud Forest and San Lorenzo Canopy Tour just up the road from the B&B. A truly amazing way to see incredible rainforests and low-hovering cloud formations.

Butterfly farm tour with hundreds of Morphos and amazing orchids and other flowers—2000 colones ($4) donation for 2 to 3 people

Cuban Cigar Rolling/Rum & Coffee shop—roll your own cigar and learn about the rich history of our Cuban neighbors. Just down the road from the B&B.

San Ramon Museum—the city of “Poets,” describes the rich history of San Ramon, where revolutionary leaders were raised and went on to ensure Costa Rica’s democracy. Also has concerts and exhibits often. Free.

San Ramon Farmers Market (Friday nights and Saturday mornings)

Lunch at a local Tilapia farm. Catch your own fish and watched it being prepared. Inquire for pricing.

Swimming place with 2 pools, water slide and bar/restaurant with a 100 meter waterfall in view leading to a natural pool.

Local bars and clubs for an evening of fun, mixing with locals or the growing ex-pat community. There’s even a terrific bar/restaurant with Karaoke on Thursday nights right across the field from the B&B!

Movie theatre with 3 screens. In Sam Ramon right at the turn off from the main highway. Most U.S.-made movies open about the same time as in the U.S., and they are in English with Spanish subtitles.

Zoo Avenue. Just a short way down the main highway from San Ramon is "Zoo Ave," an amazing 59 hectare zoo and educational facility with the largest bird collection in Central America along with many indigenous animals.

We can also arrange day trips to Arenal Volcano, Poas Volcano, Sarchi or other single- or multi-day trips throughout Costa Rica. We’re only about 1.5 hours from either coast, so we make a great jumping off spot for many activities. We have a wide variety of brochures, both hard copy and online, for your review. We’ll do the work—just tell us what you want to do!
After a day of fun—or relaxing—join us for afternoon drinks and appetizers between 4pm and 5:30pm—on the house. When you are ready for dinner, we can recommend several great and inexpensive restaurants nearby and arrange taxi service for you if needed. There is also a great and inexpensive restaurant within walking distance if you’d like an early evening stroll. Or, if you’d like, between 5:30pm and 8pm, bring in your 
own food and take advantage of our upgraded kitchen facilities and cook a feast of your own! Please let us know in advance so we can reserve kitchen time for you.
